vanderpark. vanderpark is a single-family residence in a newly built luxury residential complex. It is a place for a young modern couple with an upcoming baby and a black Labrador. The client had a very defined list of requirements for the future apartment, that had to feature a lot of various spaces, be very functional and spacious on a limited amount of m2.
Main room has a linear configuration and combines living, dinning and kitchen areas in a beautiful sequence of spaces. Every area is having a specific accent in materialization and light to make it cosy and private, while keeping as an indistinguishable part of a whole. Kitchen area has contrasting mix of black walls and ceiling with a light stone floor and island. Main cooking area of the kitchen with a stove is hidden behind a secret compartment to keep the visitors’ eyes away from it. Dinning space is strategically located between the kitchen and the living area with a low warm lighting for cosy evening dinners with a big family and friends. Living area is using clean mirrors to visually widen the space and bring more daylight into the deeper areas of the main room.
Master bedroom has two functional walk-in and walk-through wardrobe areas that are connecting it with a master bathroom, where a standalone bathtub and a walk-in shower are located. Beautiful combination of wood and black walls is creating a calm environment for relaxing and perfect sleeping conditions. In contrast, a kid’s bedroom is finished with warm white walls and light wood accents to ensure healthy development of a young organism and to create a playful atmosphere for studying the new world around.
